I took some time off to be happy about our change in leadership recently.  No more snippy blogs.  Well, actually, no more blogs at all… but I thought it was time to sit back and see how this new regime was going to do.

And… here I am.  So not so good I think.  Don’t get me wrong. Yippee, no McCain Palin in the White House.  But also no Hill and Bill in the White House.  Dammit.

So I’m back to raise a ruckus where I see fit, then let you know what you can do to be an “influencer”.

That and I’m contemplating major life changes so I need a distraction… Lucky you.

Repost from http://www.worldchanging.com/archives/009335.html

During World War II, the WPA called upon artists to inspire U.S. citizens to change their habits, to work and consume differently, and to constantly place the war effort at the very forefront of their thoughts and actions.  These now iconic images characterize a time in U.S. history when citizens collectively acknowledged that times were tough and they needed to pull together to make a difference.

Calling for design and messaging to once again mobilize citizens and industry, our allies at The Canary Project have created an art-based campaign intended to spread awareness and inspire action in response to climate change.

Yesterday, the Canary team publicly announced this latest project, called Green Patriot Posters. They will be accepting poster designs that illustrate strength, optimism and unity in the fight against climate change and drive for energy independence.

This looks like it’s both fun AND a great way to join in a Global Discussion on an Important Issue!  I’m reprinting alot from the page of the website, as I want to make sure you get as much information as possible (and not all of use spend as much time on a site clicking around as I do).  Sign up and make a difference.

What is Blog Action Day?

Blog Action Day is an annual nonprofit event that aims to unite the world’s bloggers, podcasters and videocasters, to post about the same issue on the same day. Our aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion. The official website is www.blogactionday.org

How does Blog Action Day work?

From August 15th to October 15th bloggers are asked to register to participate so we can track how many are involved, as well as their approximate audience size. On October 15th the bloggers post on the issue and/or donate their day’s ad revenue to a charity involved in that area. We ask bloggers to try to keep their posting related to their regular blog topic so that posts are individual, suited to the audience and look at the issue in many different lights.

So John “Walnuts” McCain drew a bullseye on Obama by revealing Obama’s travel plans?

It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the McCain “family” is putting a hit out on Obama. They wanted this election so badly they sent thousands of Republicans out to “crossover” to support Hillary’s campaign in an effort to derail Obama’s campaign. (Hell they started kissing Bush ass quite a while back for this election. That had to hurt.)

The sick part is how far they must have thought this out: this way, if there’s an assassination on foreign soil, it’s not like it can be blamed on racist Americans right? What’s really interesting is that Walnuts felt he needed to put the hit out personally…. getting scared that the people in America just aren’t all that into hate anymore? To the Hip Hop generation, (black, white, red, brown, yellow ya’ll) he’s just another politician.

How uber American of McCain to outsource his hit to another country…… would the MSM PLEASE start covering this dangerous psycho before the whole world has a chance to regret it?
